Near tears as I watch a digital image of you
smiling, laughing, breathing, stretching
teasing…So deceptive
as if I could reach out and touch you there
but I can’t and I ache to
my heart burns and longs as I hold back my tears
I miss you so much
Your touch, your taste,the scent of your skin
your beautiful face, full sensual mouth
that taunts me in the dark-memories of your kisses
torment me….fill me with want
I can’t fight it and I don’t want to
I miss you so much
and these memories
make me feel close to you
they remind me that I belong to you
as much as you belong to me
