The new version of b2evolution is totally compatible with the ScribeFire addon for Firefox so I can finally put it to use!! If you haven’t tried out the b2evolution software you are missing out on some awesome functionality. You can check it out at www.b2evolution.net Their support forums are next to none. While test driving Wordpress for the past year on several blogs, I found their support forums to be seriously lacking, most of my questions going completely unanswered. I also found it beyond irritating that Wordpress doesn’t handle in post images worth a shit. The features and add ons for b2 put WP to shame. If you are a beginner or a casual blogger WP will probably suit you fine. But if you want a really feature rich site that can handle anything you can think of, b2 is the only way to go. I’ve been using it for 7 years now and I have tried several other platforms and nothing matches up. I’m converting ALL my WP blogs to b2 (b2 has a very simple built in importer).

When it comes to PDF readers…adobe is the fat, slow, bloated twin of Vista. DUMP it and get something small, sleek and fast. I happen to be in love with FOXITREADER which is free but comes with add ons for purchase in offices. All of which are a little grain of sand compared to the boulder that is Adobe. I have also used PDF995 which is free to use, only a pop up ad when you create a pdf which is not that big of a deal if you rarely created PDFs as I do. Others have recommended CutePDF but it’s not one I’ve tested out.

I did a little favor for a woman here at work, burned a DVD for her group that is traveling to South America on a humanitarian mission again. I didn’t mind doing it for her but she ‘thanked’ me today with a box of chocolates from Harry and David. YUMMY!! Will work for chocolate :P
