Every so often I have time to do some card dropping through Entrecard which gives me a chance to see a lot of random blogs back to back. So after some observations from the most recent surfing, I’m going to make an effort to clean up my blog. I want to make things a little cleaner, maybe switch to a two column layout. No more ads that aren’t generating enough money to justify their clutter. Mommy bloggers have too many widgets, ads and junk, most of it identical to every other mommy blog. Even their blog graphics all seem to be from the same designer. All very cookie cutter, one like the next. I don’t care about their recent visitors so I assume no one cares about mine. I’ve removed my blogcatalog and other ‘visitors’ widgets. I’m going to stick to only fun stuff I truly want to promote. I plan to keep my Google ads because they are low maintenance. I’m still ambivalent about Entrecard, not sure if its worth the space or not but I’m leaving it for now.
