Why did it take me SIX attempts to find a place to donate food and a toy this year? I mean seriously people. Why does your food pantry not have a drop box if you are CLOSED on the weekends? Why is the Highland Food Pantry apparently non existent even though back in Jan 2008 you had 50K in donations pledged to build an annex or some shit? GONE. Maybe you would get more donations if you made it a little easier on people.

Toys for Tots seems to have a problem this year with being able to pick up from donation sites. That’s understandable and not their fault but drop off locations were not advertised this year like in the past. Plus I thought places like Toys R Us and Walmart always collect toys.

I tried to do something nice and ended up frustrated.

What the hell happened to red and green saran wrap??? I tried three different stores so that I could wrap Aunt Rose’s basket of goodies in something festive. FAIL. No where to be found! Was it recalled?? Or did it just slowly disappear from the shelves?

It’s been a frustrating season.
