Grouply Block List-Why am I suspicious of this?

So I have received two Grouply ~~viruses~~ invites through my ReUseIt Groups and the first one I just deleted. It annoys me to see them in my inbox. It makes me feel slimey and tainted. The one that came in yesterday had an option at the bottom to block my email from ever receiving Grouply invites. I clicked the link but somehow I am not comfortable giving them confirmation of my email address, especially considering all the shifty shit they pull. I guess for now I will just continue to report the invites to the group owner, delete them and take scalding hot showers.

the remove me link DOES work, however it is only a TEMP fix...

I sent an email to the jerks who run the site and told them that I didn't ever want to see another of their spamming invites.

Told 'em to add me to their 'Leave Me The FUCK ALONE!!' list...
it worked, I haven't seen a 'personal invite in ages, just the ones that are sent through the groups...

It's amazing that this stupid thing continues to be a problem for people! Our Yahoo group has been Grouply free for some time now but the person who monitors it is diligent about warning people to stay away from Grouply in the first place.
