So I’m starting Lupron injections in a couple weeks. I’m a bit apprehensive about this. Mostly because I fear it could damage my relationship with Matt. I could possibly be an unbearable bitch for the next 6 months. Can he deal with me acting like that? :-/ I hope so… He went with me to the obgyn yesterday and was happy to find porn in the exam room!! I didn’t bother to point out it was simply a how to breast exam chart or mention that there was some even better stuff in the other rooms :))

I don’t know if the hormones peak and cause pain or what…but when I find myself in pelvic pain I get weepy like I have PMS. Its very odd and a bit hard to deal with. Yesterday I was very emotional and didn’t really have anything to pin it on.

Doc thinks the headaches may be related to all this hormone stuff. Let’s hope…I’m working up another doozy as I type.

I’ve asked Matt to cut back on his beer to keep me sane. After growing up with abusive, alcoholic men all around me, I’m hyper sensitive to drinking. In the back of my mind I’m constantly monitoring his beer intake. Afraid that I may fall into the same mindset as other women and start making excuses so that I can deny there is a problem. Thing is I don’t know if there is a problem…with him or with me. So its one thing I just don’t need to be worrying about now so I’ve asked him to lay off for a bit so I can cope. I love him but I could never be with someone who can’t control their alcohol. Dealing with THAT on top of this other crap is just too much for me right now.

and it really is a good movie. As said before the fight scenes are a bit much but I love the way Sean William Scott and Dwayne Johnson play their roles. Chris Walken is always great. I’m also finding Dwayne Johnson pretty damn sexy now that he’s given up all the wrestling nonsense.

In the news…

I read today about the horrid death of the drag racer here at our local track in Madison. The news paper says “The cause of death is under investigation”

WTF? I mean… HELLO??? did you see the crash? The fire? The car ripped into pieces? The cause of his death seemed pretty damn obvious to me. The cause of the wreck? Unsure… I agree. But there’s no mystery to why the man died. <

And the ACLU strikes again and is suing some night clubs down south for instating a dress code the ACLU feels is against black and poor people. Give me a fucking break! This is the same dress code instituted here in St Louis. (You may remember Nelly refusing to jump on the racial band wagon when they tried to remove the dress code) This dress code is meant to keep GANG BANGERS away and stop gang related activities from ruining business. Exactly why it was started here in St Louis too. Gangs had taken over the Union Station Mall and their stores were suffering because people were afraid to shop there. Thanks to their hard stance on dress codes and gang activity it is a busy, thriving mall again. Thank bob that Nelly was smart enough to know what was going on here in his own home town. Regardless that the activist group, who was seeking his backing, denounced him publically.
