Do I even need to say that we had an awesome time!? Even with a brief severe thunderstorm on Saturday we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We ate well, partied even better, scored tons of beads and took some great pics. The Boy gained an admirer on Bourbon street. A sexy latin boy who wanted to barter for a peek at The Boy’s goods but had to settle for blowing him kisses. I collected some beads of my own without ever unleashing the girls.

Our hotel was great and the location just can’t be beat. Taking our bicycles was an excellent idea for getting around town. The people of New Orleans are so friendly and welcoming, its really a different atmosphere from the St Louis area.

We also got to see Nicholas Cage filming some scenes for a movie.
