'Phantom' gall bladder pain means its time to get serious about changing my diet.

They are called phantom gall bladder pains but really its just sign that I most likely have a valve issue. So instead of having surgery to correct I’m going to try a natural approach and change my diet.

Tuesday I picked up a two week cleanse kit (pills) at Trader Joe’s and some green and red drink powder. I started the cleanse that night and tried the green drink. I was in such misery Tuesday night I ALSO tried a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar …straight with no apple juice. It tastes vile but damned if it didn’t work. UGH Over and over I found people who swear by this and if you drink it daily it will help with the valve issue. The boy even took some acv with me to coerce me into doing it. Yes I’m a baby STFU!

I have been really bad the past month or so. I ran out of egg whites and got lazy and have been getting breakfast at McDonald’s. :lecture: I’m sure those grease laden hash browns are to blame. So as of Wednesday A.M. I’m back to making my own breakfast. I made a breakfast smoothie from my new recipe book “Eat what you love” and it was freaking awesome! I added some red drink powder to it. That still gave me some minor pain so I’m going to have to be careful about lunches out.

Tonite I’m feeling a bit better. I even had a little energy when I got home from work and I’ve been feeling run down all week. I’m having the red drink in the a.m. and the green drink in the p.m. as meal replacements. Mixed into a nonfat organic yogurt based smoothie. I’ve had a couple headaches this week, not sure if its from lack of sleep or what. I wouldn’t think the cleanse pills would be causing it but who knows.

Anyway… curious to see how this works for me.
