Wednesday my new boss tells me he wants to meet at lunch on Friday and talk. He quickly said it was nothing bad and that he was hearing good things. Call me crazy but I’m freaked the F out. I’m a nervous wreck expecting the worst. Then I see this:

Seriously I’m going to vomit.

Matt says to ignore that nonsense and I know he’s right but come on… why this horoscope TODAY!?!? I seriously can’t take any sort of bad news right now. I just can’t. Boss likes to take late lunches so I’m just sitting here trying to stay busy and not dwell. Yeah cuz that’s completely doable.

I found this recently and saved it but didn’t read all the way through it. A lot of meaning here and most of the things under the Love heading have already come to pass. Matt and I are happier than ever and I believe our relationship is better for surviving the problems of the past year. I feel closer to Matt and more deeply happy and content than ever before. The rift seems to have closed.

The career predictions, I hope indeed come to pass! Last week I got a fortune cookie that said “Remember three months from this date. Good things are in store for you.” That was May 10th so three months would be August 10th, which is fall. :) Who knows but right now I will take hope where I can find it.

I have been unable to focus on details for about two weeks. I’m having a hard time getting in the groove at work and getting stuff done. Typically I’m very productive at work but I guess being tired is getting to me finally.

I did get some new bracelets made last night and one of the necklaces for Kim’s wedding, will post those later. :)

I also spent about six hours updating the Coenobita Species website and it’s so much closer to being finished. I still need to do some major work on the ID test but the pages are nearly done.

Friday night I went to see Taken with Teresa and it was AWESOME!! After the movie we went over to Josh’s house and his little boy managed to get to second base when he hugged me goodbye. Little shit is about 18 months old and totally shoved his hand down my shirt when he hugged me!!

You may be more willing to put in extra effort this year to get ahead professionally. Today, however, you might be tired of all the hard work. Pay careful attention to your feelings, for if you are unconscious about any growing frustrations, they can create problems down the road. I have been feeling totally overwhelmed and burnt out for a couple weeks now. I feel like I’m never getting ahead and the energy I am expending to try to stay afloat is quickly draining me.

My boss is in Argentina for a week and then Denver for a week. Things are piling up on me here trying to juggle our office and help him out. We really need a third person here but that is not going to happen any time soon.

Sweetie Michelle always calls to make sure I’m not spilling the blood of those who are clearly too dumb to be alive.

Wow if this it what it’s like to have ADD for real I have a new sympathy. I am totally all over the map today, worse than a normal Friday. I feel like I’ve been mainlining caffeine and I’ve had no more than usual. I can’t focus, I feel like running all over and being chatty with everyone. I’m in a giddy silly mood and I have a headache. Yeah that makes NO SENSE. I am getting zero work done because I can’t stay focused on one single task. If I could just get this energy harnessed I could have a productive day but I feel like having fun and goofing off instead. Should have known that it was going to be a crazy day when I had Ozzy Crazy Train totally cranked in the car this morning. I love the new Boneyard channel on Sirius.

Did I tell you that yesterday I got a New Year hug from the drive by hugs guy? Haven’t seen him but he’s moving back to our office. He’s so upbeat and happy.

You might attempt to ignore the messages you are receiving now, even if your trusted friends are giving you sound advice. You may remain open to listening, but a part of you already knows your emotional limits and won’t move beyond them. Be careful; you could lose a wonderful opportunity for love if you become so inflexible that you miss what’s right in front of your nose.

It’s freezing cold again today. I have on two shirts and a sweater and I’m still not warm. My feet are freezing in my previously glued to my feet favorite shoes.

I don’t know what I’m going to do this weekend. I want to go to Wayne City and get the Ab Lounger back cuz I was using it and seeing results. But it’s 4 hours round trip I should stay home and clean the pig cage and fish tank and work on some jewelry but I doubt this chaotic energy will last that long. I’ll probably crash later.

Your schedule is about to get busier and this should prove to be a positive change. It’s not just about introducing more activity into your life; you are anticipating all that you can learn with so much going on. This increased pace will continue to build and will probably last much of the year, so remember that you need to conserve your energy or you’ll burn out before you get to fully enjoy what you’ve worked toward these last few years.

I had another epic dream last night but I lost most of it as I didn’t have time to write it down this morning. Had to jump in the shower and get ready for a doc appointment. Sweetie Matty started my car and cleaned the ice off for me. I think he was happy to stay home by the fire and wait. That’s going to give me a little time to try to shop for him again today.

Tonight we are celebrating my birthday JUST IN CASE he gets called out tomorrow night. Which is so my luck right?

Seriously? Ugh…just ugh. I think I’ll choose to ignore this one. Matt stayed over last night and I had some feelings that we are in danger of resuming our old habits and patterns. I’m afraid that is a bad thing. I’m not sure if it’s valid or not but it feels like that’s how we got to this place to begin with. I could be wrong on that… hard to say right now.

I came home from work last night tired and cranky because I had to stop and pick up something for dinner AND decide what to get (it gets old being the one who has to make nearly every decision). I had intended to just eat something at home for a change, knowing there was left over pizza for Matt. He sent me a text asking what was for dinner cuz there was nothing there that he likes to eat (except pizza). Matt got out of class earlier in the day and he could have taken care of dinner but I didn’t say anything and obviously I SHOULD HAVE. So it’s not entirely fair to him because he didn’t know I was tired and annoyed.

Anyway I texted Matt to tell him I would need help carrying stuff in. I expected him to be waiting at the door ready to come out since I gave him a heads up that I was 10 mins away. I had to honk the horn and then he opened the door. He let the girls out and then it seemed like he was just standing there waiting for me to come to the door so he could open it for me. So I snapped at him. He said he was getting his shoes but I didn’t see that.

The bottom line is we take each other for granted and don’t communicate our feelings very well. We are both guilty of holding back and that causes animosity. I feel like I could elaborate more here but I’ll save it for therapy. Yeah… therapy. Holy shit.

You could make it all look easy today, but inside you are probably stressing more than usual. These are difficult times, for you are being pulled in opposite directions and neither option is perfect. Ultimately, you’ll need to stop the analysis and just make a choice. Remember, it’s usually best to choose love over fear.

Last week Matt asked me again what needs to happen so he can come back home. I had mentioned counseling for us in previous conversations. I just wasn’t sure if that was the answer to our problems but the more I have thought about it the more it seems there isn’t much else we can try. Matt called this morning and set up our first appointment for next Monday. He made a commitment to see this through with me and with that promise, I told him he can come back home at the end of the month. Well the end of the month is logical because he will have to give notice to the landlord and all that but I’m sure he will start moving back before then. He tells me over and over that he is very unhappy with the current arrangement and just wants to come home to me. So I’m choosing love over fear…. again. I know that our family and true friends will be supportive of our decision to try to save our relationship because they know how much we love each other.

I just hope this is the right step because I don’t have any other ideas about how to rebuild this relationship. John told me today that the reason I’m not sure what to do yet is because the right thing hasn’t presented itself. I’ve been thinking about that a lot because it really made me stop and think. Sometimes you don’t know the solution to a problem until it’s staring you in the face and then it’s like a light switches on. I definitely felt good after talking to Matt on the phone about him coming home. That’s an honest feeling that I can trust if nothing else.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes, yet you still could be a bit cavalier as you talk about your feelings. You may think that change will occur more easily now, yet nothing much will happen unless you can find the courage and take a risk. What you see is exactly what you get. The first thing that came to mind when I read this was: Go to therapy. Right now our relationship issues are in the spotlight so that seems to be the first thing that comes to mind. Not sure where else there are risks that should be taken. Certainly not at work and right now anything involving finances is a risk.

In your drive to show the world that you can do anything, you might miss an opportunity to deeply connect with someone in your life. Hiding your insecurities won’t necessarily make them go away. Gently push your true feelings up to the surface where they are easier to share. Not everyone expects you to be a superhero all the time.

Matt passed all of his tests with flying colors. I am very proud of him for doing so well. I knew he would succeed. His plane arrives later this evening…still not sure if I am going to make dinner. I am exhausted this morning and have a little bit of a headache, probably from crying last night. He tried to call and I wouldn’t answer because I didn’t feel like talking and I had to get some work done. He sent me several texts and a very touching email. I still have a lot on my mind and I am getting NO WORK done today. Just a zombie right now… more later on what’s in my head.

Although you might try to stay on the sunny side of your disposition, there could be a rather serious issue that needs airing. Others may expect you to be positive or even uplifting, but don’t let their expectations stand in the way of your honesty. After all, part of your reputation is based on your ability to tell it like it is. You will feel much better once the truth is out in the open.

This is a helpful reminder right now. I am feeling overwhelmed by the lack of control I have pretty much every aspect of my life. Diet and exercise are at the top of that list. I keep trying to find a way to balance it all and right now it’s just not happening.

You can be an inspiration to your friends with your sense of independence, even if you make it seem easier than it is. On the surface it appears as if you guide all your decisions by high ideals and philosophical truths. But you may not be as consistent between your head and your heart as others assume. Don’t be afraid to share your personal struggles because it can make you more human and more loveable than you already are.

Spontaneous. High appeal. Rare to find. Great when found. Loves being in long relationships. So much love to give. Not one to mess with. Very pretty. Very romantic. Nice to everyone they meet. Their Love is one of a kind. Silly, fun and sweet. Have own unique appeal. Most caring person you will ever meet! Amazing in the you know where..!!! Not the kind of person you wanna mess with, you might end up crying.

I finally got two clown loaches last night to deal with my infestation of snails. Fleas and snails …is the apocalypse on the horizon? I was hoping when I released them I would see a shark like feeding frenzy as they devoured the tasty snails. It wasn’t quite so violent or feverish but they quickly went to work picking through the gravel. I taped for over 6 minutes but it’s rather uneventful unless you just want to see my huge pleco (who I’ve decided to name Ralph) who seems to have a permanent 90 degree bend from it’s choice of tank sucking spots. You know how your mom always said that if you make a face too many times it will stick that way? It’s completely true! I’m naming the loaches Jules and Vincent :)

I’ve noticed that when I meditate at the docs office it is more focused and relaxing than when at home. I think there is enough background noise so that I don’t get so focused on my breathing. May try different places in the house to see if I can find a better spot.

Friday could not get here fast enough! I have been stuck sitting at my desk moving files for 2 daes. My arm is numb, my ass is numb, my eyes are crossed. BUT.. my boy will be home tonight No plans for Saturday, just relaxing and doing some web work at home. I have web site job I need to get started on. I’m sure if the weather is nice we’ll go out for a ride together. I feel like I have my best friend back again. We are talking more and spending lots of time together like we used to. I’m even thinking about visiting him on the weekends if he is away. Porn hotel sex!!! Okay so only Matt will get that reference… inside joke from when we first met.

Saturday is Poppy’s birthday but we aren’t doing anything this weekend since they just went back to their place.

Sunday is the Pride Parade which is sure to be a blast, will be taking my digi cam.

I’ve never worked anywhere that had summer interns and boy was I missing out! YOUNG, HOT and SMART… oh mommy what a summer! There are three that are just to die for. A is your typical hollywood cute but his best feature in my book is his butt…it’s completely and utterly perfect! B is just my type…tall, dark, hot and into motorcycles. C reminds me of Jerry O’Connell for some reason. He’s also very, very friendly and talkative.

Yesterday’s paper said that American Airlines is cutting back their service out of St Louis. Reducing nonstop flights to the east coast and other locations. This is because of rising fuel costs. The cuts the airlines are making are sure making it real hard for people to justify flying over driving right now. I took a flight with one lay over when I went to NYC last year and that one lay over sucked because that is where we ran into issues with the air pressure and AC…not cool.

10 pm and I’m still working from home…boo! I worked late trying to free some space on the servers in Argentina.

John told me that he wants to write a movie about his life and I said that was a great idea!! Then he told me he wants ME to do the actual writing. Erm I have no idea how to write a screen play! I’ve never written anything longer than a poem or very verbose blog entry. I tried to convince him that I was not his best option but he’s determined it MUST be me. He then promised: “I’m gonna make you famous” Billy the Kid used to say something to that effect, right before he SHOT the person. OY VEY!!! I have no desire to be famous but it’s new, it’s fun and why the hell not? If nothing else, this should be a fantastic adventure and I am looking forward to hearing the story of John’s life.

Naturally, in true me fashion, I picked up a few books on script writing. I have such huge list of projects (websites, quilts, jewelry, cert tests, piles of books to read) pending and no end in sight for completing any of them.

Well this sounds completely shitty doesn’t it?

I was high when I went to bed (big shock lol) and we all know how philosophical one can get when you are baked. So I was thinking more about my weekend post.

The end result of life, is death, always no matter what. No matter what you do with your time here, death is inevitable. So really does it matter if I die today or 50 years from now? The world at large will not be affected one way or another if I die tomorrow. Less than 1% of the earth’s population even knows I exist so from that perspective, one life is very insignificant. I have done nothing to make a name for myself or to leave a legacy. I will come and go without so much as a ripple in the puddle. So what’s it all for? Work, struggle, love, hate, laugh and cry and then you die, no matter what so why bother? I mean once you are dead there is no regretting anything not done so why do we bother to carry on?

Sadly this is far less trippy when sober.

Remember the ongoing tree problems we were having after the tornado in july 07? The trees we finally had trimmed in early summer to avoid damage to our roof? Well today the big tree that was the major concern broke AGAIN, this time all that is left is about 12 feet of the trunk. It fell to the neighbors yard again so I called the tree trimmer again and he is coming first thing in the morning. Matt is in Kentucky so I may have to drag the branches off their yard tomorrow. crazy It’s going to cost us another 250.00 to have this cleaned up. At this rate I am not going to be able to go to NYC for my birthday in December. I was planning to get my credit card nearly paid off before December but now I don’t know if that is going to happen. Today may feel lucky, for it’s a day when you can have your cake and eat it too. You might be seeking a romantic connection, but it absolutely must be more than just fluff. I am still shopping for a bluetooth headset for my Blackberry Pearl. The least expensive one at Best Buy had several poor reviews online so I am going to have do some research on the mid range units. I still have my Best Buy gift card and they have several on sale this week.

The weather is yo-yoing all over, it was hot on Saturday and it’s cold and wet tonight.

I have received so many nice compliments at work, I love helping people! Someone told me today that they enjoy seeing me because I always have a smile on my face. T.M. (one of the young guys at work that I have been talking to, stopped by to see me and chat a couple times today. He is very soft spoken and sweet, not to mention totally cute. We have a guy in from Argentina until the end of the month. His english is limited so my initial encounters with him were a bit slow. It is fascinating all the different backgrounds represented at Penta, lots of spanish speaking people. I was thinking last week that it might be cool to take a spanish class. I think they actually do a monthly class at Penta, if I understood Cathy right. Tomorrow we have PLC (Penta Learning Class) for the new AutoDesk Inventor 2008. I know nothing of AutoDesk products but I need to be able to help the other users so I have to learn it too. I am just so happy at this job! LUV

Christ this was true today for sure. I was happy, sad, angry, sad, and happy again. Total fucking rollercoaster today, if I didn’t know better I would think I forgot my patch or my crazy pills.

Work was very crazy busy but not in a bad way. I helped Michael with the budgets again and he asked me to finalize the last one for him, which was a little nerve wracking. crazy After the meeting he said I did a great job so yah me!

It’s rainy tonight, of course since yesterday I moved the last of the halloween decorations out into the yard, including my electronic tombstone that I love. So I came home to find it soaked and probably ruined. My wailing corpse bride is safe from the elements at least. I took a pic but you can’t really see the cute stuff on the table. I might be inspired to take another pic of the table.

I won’t be home for trick or treates but Matt will have to give out candy if he’s home. Misty and I will be staying the night at The Lemp Mansion!

New worlds of possibilities are opening up, but first you have a few practical matters to complete. Starting out with the most ordinary tasks now can give you the freedom to enjoy yourself later. If you’re feeling bored, don’t worry because it won’t last. Be patient; you’ll have plenty of activity to keep you entertained before you know it.

I arrived at Penta a few minutes early so I had time to go pee and check my hair, teeth and makeup. I sat just for a couple minutes while the receptionist went back to tell someone I was there. She returned to escort me back to speak with Frank first. I shook hands with him- I am getting better at that! I’ve read that men will judge a person on the way they shake hands. He asked about my last name and then said ‘Well I know where you come from.” I responded that all I know is that the name is either English or Irish. He said that it is a strongly British name. We sat down to discuss the job and the company, just general stuff. In reading over my resume he saw my email address and inquired what what foreverpurple meant. I told him that purple is my favorite color and that I’m almost obsessive about my purple. He noted that purple is the color of royalty. I knew that but didn’t ever imagine that it would come up in a job interview. He was taking notes and asking questions so I had some time to look around his office. That is when I noticed the motorcycle replicas in his window. So of course I asked him if he rides and he does. So we talked motorcycles for a couple minutes. I think I spent about 30 minutes with him. Then I was taken to a conference room to speak with Mike and Jerry. As I was leaving I told Frank to be safe while riding. Mike was busy so I had a few minutes alone with Jerry. We talked a little about technology and computers in general. Mike showed up and I shook hands with him also. “You met with Frank already?” “Yes I did” “And you didn’t run, well that’s a good sign” “No it was good we actually have something in common in that I ride a Harley.” “Oh really? Well you are as good as in.”

I spent another 30 minutes just talking to Mike and Jerry about myself, not heavily about the job. I think Mike felt comfortable with my technical experience so this seemed to be about me as a person and if I would be a good fit for this company. We also discussed my future with TechSkills. Mike expressed concern over me working two jobs and trying to learn new stuff. I explained that my reason for wanting to stay was in order to finish my MCSA since the courses are free for employees. Penta has tuition and training benefits, so Mike said that he would make sure I was able to finish the courses and get my MCSA without it costing me anything and I could do it during the work week and in an accelerated course. Penta will also cover the cost of the exams. I told him that if the TechSkills thing was the only obstackle, then I would take care of it one way or another. All in all I was there about an hour and 15 minutes. Mike said they planned to have a decision by the first of the week as they were doing second interviews all week. When we were walking out I joked about calling Frank to go riding. I’m sure he was thinking I was out of my mind considering that Frank is the President/Ceo!! I totally was unaware of that when we sat down and I am so glad I didn’t know because I would have been so much more nervous. As it was I was pretty comfortable and relaxed and enjoyed talking to him.

I left with a good feeling again, telling my self that I rocked that interview I’m not sure where all this self confidence came from but I am loving it! Halfway home my cell phone rings and I see it’s Penta so I’m thinking ‘did I leave something behind?’ I didn’t see anything missing as I answered. Mike was calling me to offer me the job. WEEEEE! I pulled over on 270 so I could take some notes while we talked. I was so excited I wanted to get out of my car and jump up and down on the shoulder. hehehe I start on Monday and I am so excited. This job is going to be challenging and a bit stressful at times but I’m ready for it and totally psyched to get in there and get started. Mike said they will take care of getting me a passport. Now I was planning to do that myself, JUST IN CASE. He told me there was very little possibility for me to travel but I figured it couldn’t hurt to be prepared based on what he had told me. My benefits (which are very good) kick in after 30 days.

After we talked I called mom, misty, Matt and dad to tell them the news but only mom actually answered. I am so excited about this opportunity to start my career in IT.

Migraine again today. Even though we had a talk I am still feeling the pressure it seems. I don’t feel like anything was resolved and therefore I don’t know what the future will bring. That’s weighing on my mind. Matt seems to be sort of subdued.

Last night’s dream:
I was out on this thin, tall peninsula that was mud and trees and the ground was nearly impassable for all the fallen branches. The water around it was calm, dark and muddy looking and there was no other visible shore. I was with an old guy who was using a make shift pitchfork from a tree branch to lift bird’s nests up into the trees to make them safe. This caretaker type guy was explaining all of this to me. Then there was a ferret running around while we were kneeling down and inspecting this fallen branch. Pretty soon it was confident enough to come within reach of the guy and he grabbed it up. He wanted me to look at it’s double row(?) of teeth so he pulled it’s lips back and I ran my finger over it’s teeth. Then he let it go and we started making our way back to land. The entire way was littered with branches that we had to pick our way through but they didn’t slow us down. Soon we came to the end of a line of aquariums and the walkway was even more narrow. When I got to the end the guy was gone and I was at swimming pool, like at gym. A blond girl told me I had to get in and swim for at least 5 minutes to basically clean myself of anything that would be clinging to me from being out on the peninsula.

I couldn’t find anything concrete in my book about this dream.

Matt and I talked this morning but I’m not sure that anything was really resolved, at least for me. I did get to air all of my issues at least so maybe that’s a start. I don’t remember where I heard this but it’s true: “You gotta clean the wound before it can heal.”

Maybe at least now I can focus more on work and other things. I finally finished my Excel 2007 labs this morning. My poor eyes are so bleary and tired from crying and staring at the computer.

Rode my bike today to the pharmacy and the long way back. Yogurt for breakfast and Panda Express for lunch (left overs for dinner I guess).

Who are these morons out there with variable rate mortgage loans who are all in a panic because of interest rates going up? Is there any real reason to do this? Other than having bad credit I guess but why would you NOT lock in your rate when it’s 6% or lower?? If you don’t have a solid plan for being able to afford the higher payment, why opt for that in the first place?

Today on BTLS they were discussing the whole OJ thing and Brent brought up putting someone under citizen’s arrest. This whole concept is so ridiculous. I mean who is going to take you seriously if you try to enforce this? Does the legal system even recognize it?

Wiki says in the US:

All states other than North Carolina permit citizen arrests if a felony crime is witnessed by the citizen carrying out the arrest, or when a citizen is asked to help apprehend a suspect by the police. The application of state laws varies widely with respect to misdemeanor crimes, breaches of the peace, and felonies not witnessed by the arresting party. Note particularly that American citizens do not have the authorities or the legal protections of the police, and are strictly liable before both the civil law and criminal law for any violation of the rights of another.

North Carolina General Statutes do not provide for citizen arrest, but instead provide for detention by private persons.[7] These statutes apply both to civilians and to police officers outside their jurisdiction. Personal safety

Further, the typical private person is not trained or equipped to carry out an arrest safely; even security guards who are .familiar. with citizen’s arrest may lack sufficient training. As well, many legal jurisdictions consider the citizen’s arrest to be a special case where any mistake by the arresting party may result in civil or criminal liability. Excessive force may result in criminal charges against the arresting party.

In areas where police services are available, anyone witnessing a serious crime is usually advised for their own safety to notify the police rather than attempting direct intervention. Even if intervention is attempted, the safest objective may be to scare off the assailant or criminal rather than to attempt to take them into custody. In addition, it is also advised that anyone witnessing a crime also focus on trying to remember as much detail as possible such as to the appearance of the criminal in order to supply the police with information.

I use a PDF plug in for my Firefox and when I let it update itself tonight it killed my theme. When I uninstalled it my theme was back. I guess I should let the add on creator know so he can fix it. Pretty handy plug in but I have to have my custom purple theme :D

I got mom’s Ab Lounger but I can’t figure out how to reassemble it I have to get back to my exercising before I backslide completely. NOD

I managed to get out for a 20 minute (2111 steps) walk this morning, was afraid to venture too far from the house as it was raining off and on. Came back home and did 20 minutes of yoga.

I bought a new Blackberry Pearl in red from eBay two nights ago and it should be here tomorrow. I can’t wait! I wanted an iPhone but you can’t get a deal on them at all and I bought this for nearly 50% off and didn’t have to reup my contract with Cingular. Even if you reup you still don’t get a discount on the iPhone so screw them. I’ll wait it out and in the meantime enjoy my Blackberry lust. NOD My Compaq laptop will be so jealous as it is now the old ball and chain. I have tomorrow off so that means all day to play with it and by play I mean PROGRAM it. :p I got a 25.00 gift card from work to Best Buy so I will be using that either for a Bluetooth or possibly a memory card upgrade.

I have just nearly completed the Excel 2003 labs and today the 2007 beta labs were rolled out so I am going to start over with them.

This past Monday I started cleaning out my closets and I have a huge amount of clothes to take to Goodwill. On the plus side I was happy I saved some of my ’skinnier’ clothes that I really loved as now I can wear them again. I have been hitting Goodwill to pick up some suitable for work pants instead of buying new. I have a little more to do in the closets and then I MUST get my sewing room in order. Chaos reigns in there at the moment and it is impossible to clean AND that bitch cat dumped over one of my bead boxes. covereyesslap
