We drove to De Forest today to visit Elenbach’s and stock up on cheese. Besides getting some for the boy, we also got some as gifts for family and our neighbors who are pet sitting for us while we are gone. Elenbach’s has become our cheese place, partly because of the giant cow out front named Sissy. But it’s also en route from the house to the parent’s house.

So below are the pics from our cheese adventure. We are relaxing in the room now waiting for rehearsal/dinner later this evening.

So many varieties of cheese. We bought some blueberry cheddar after sampling it.

We tasted these two cheddars but ended up buying the 4 year aged as they told us it doesn’t crumble as easily as the 12 year. When they say extremely sharp they aren’t kidding but it was very delish!

They also have some very ornate cuckoo clocks.

After the cheese shopping we went to the mall to look for some more Badger/Wisconsin shirts and what not. The East Towne Mall has a candy buffet. YUM! We failed to find the sandals Matty wants but I got a new travel mug and t shirt. Yesterday I got a coffee (tea) mug and a sweatshirt.
