Additional snow totals through Thursday evening include:

- Deerfield, S.D.: 20 inches
- Downtown Sturgis, S.D.: 16 inches
- Logan, N.D.: 12 inches

The wind Thursday blasted to hurricane strength with an 85-mph gust recorded in East Rapid City. Winds today will gust above 40 mph, leading to potential for additional power outages from the Dakotas to Kansas.
