Driving home tonight I was bemused to find loaves of Wonder bread on the interstate, 3 or 4 of them. Out of no where came a memory, of a book I read as a kid about a giant jam sandwich. I remember that the towns people made the giant jam sandwich to lure and trap some insects, mosquitoes maybe it seemed. They actually made an entire loaf of bread, not sure why they needed to make an entire loaf for 2 slices of bread but I digress. I had to come home and look it up.
As I’m Googling the book, Matt leans over and says ‘Hey I had that book! That book is awesome.” Now I think we must indeed buy this little gem from Amazon so I can wax nostalgic about Itching Down.
