What a great birthday!
I was totally overwhelmed with love this year. I’m always pretty spoiled when it comes to gifts and such and this year was no different. I got a really touching card from my dad that made me cry. The next day I opened my card from Matt and cried again. He obviously put a lot of thought into the card and it reflected our journey over the last year.
Misty bought me this KILLER jewelry armoire, it’s so gorgeous. I have the pic on my other laptop so will update with that later.
Friday we did some shopping together and the boy took me to lunch at Olive Garden
He was really tired because he only slept a few hours that morning so we came home after lunch, deciding to save the gun shop for another day.
Saturday after a busy day at home, the boy took me to St Louis to look at Christmas lights. One of my favorite things to do.
Last year he wasn’t home so Misty and I went. There are two houses in the St Louis area that have their lights synchronized to music. We visited those as well as two other specific places and lots of random houses in between. (pics/videos to come) Thank bob for the GPS unit from his parents! Oh speaking of them, Friday we got our Christmas box from them! Yummy cookies from mom, some cheese for the boy and a great photo album from our trip to Montana and Wisconsin.
Here’s the boy opening the box from mom and dad:
The awesome laptop skin he bought me for Angelina (he also got me a Stephen King book):
Wednesday night my car finally hit 200k! I haven’t started car shopping yet, maybe in the spring. At least if my trusty car finally gives up the ghost I have mom’s car I can drive as a back up.
Here is the armoire with tons of storage!
The boy hung my candelier (which was a gift LAST year!)
