I’m exhausted…even after resting all weekend! Here’s all the stuff we managed to squeeze in last week:

Saturday:
Butterfly House- really fun, the Butterflies seemed more active than at the zoo
St Louis Carousel at Faust Park- cool but during our turn they kept having technical difficulties so we gave up and left.
Wolf Sanctuary- the kids found this to be dull, and it was hot. Bailey told her parents she was NEVER coming back.
Powder Valley Nature Center- the kids LOVED all the cool stuff inside. We had enough walking so we didn’t hike.

Sunday:
Magic House- wow this should have been an all day booking! We spent about 5 hours there and had to rush through some stuff towards the end. Totally worth going to though.
Shopping in Fairview

Monday:
Science Center and Planetarium- this was pretty cool as well considering we only did the FREE stuff.
St Louis Mills Nascar Speedpark- it started raining when we got there so only the indoor track was open. Danny, Julie, Danielle and Zach got to ride the big go carts together. Bailey rode the smaller ones by herself and then rode with Brooklyn. Pretty fun and not terribly expensive.

Tuesday:
Zoo- a HUGE hit! We went to the Children’s Zoo this time. The String ray pool was everyone’s favorite. The kids also got a Build A Bear, airbrush tattoos and cotton candy to take home. 7.5 hours and we skipped the stuff they can see at home and the butterfly house. Julie said 8 hours would be too much so we just barely squeaked by

Wednesday:
Shopping
Cardinals game- The kids had fun on the Metro Link. Danny really ended up enjoying the game but Brooklyn found it to be too noisy. Lukas loved all the people and was really good until the first big run, then it was too loud. Bailey tried to order some cotton candy for herself from one of the vendors walking around, too funny! They had hot dogs and Dippin’ Dots before we left.

Thursday:
Swimming- Gma took everyone out to the Korte Recreation Center in Highland to swim, what a blast! Brooklyn doesn’t like water apparently ” alt=”” class="middle” width="45″ height="44″ />
